How to Measure Well Dimensions

Measure the length, depth and height of you well opening to the outer edges, Window Well Covers are often larger than the actual well opening for an overlap fit.

Use the measurement system below if your well is concrete, brick, or landscape timber.

Rectangular / "U" shaped measuring instructions

A=LENGTH DIMENSION (at the wall of the house to the outside edges of the well)
B=PROJECTION DIMENSION (measure from the wall of the house, out to the front outside edge of the well)
G=BRIDGE DIMENSION (for a 36" - 38" projection well... measure out 24" from the wall of the house woward the front of the well and place a mark on the well on each side, then measure across the well at these points to the outside edges and for a 24" - 26" projection well, measure out 12" from the wall to place marks)
